Matter, energy, the source of love - The Soul
The albino dolphin raced to the deep depths of time, she nudged the earth lifting clouds of memories. The anchor was to her left and broke from the time piece. As she carried it back to the vessel, she resisted once again. Was it too soon, did Gulliver think over his thoughts? Did Schiller know everything about Jesus? In fact the man drawn so many years ago was indeed a servant. He called his teachings, testaments. The drawing the dolphin knew was precise, the face, the straggly hair, his high brow, chin and his fixation. Those deep penetrating eyes.
Gulliver woke troubled that his writings and drawings done so many years ago had vanished. He worried then that if the diary was found, the messages inscribed in it would be dangerous to his adversaries. From the net of jew-els, Gulliver took a golden marker and began to trace his memory. His hand automatically responded by jerking. He drew crude curves, angles and musical clefs like symbols, that he remembered in the beginning of the inscription, but nothing more.
God answered. I remember the time you were a light, you came to me and said, I know I am different on this plane. I want you to begin your journey, God tentatively motioned, Keep me in your mind, and think only of the times of Judaism
Feinin remembers the day, Saturday, (London). The place looks like a hospital masked over as a science lab. The physicians and scientists that greet him are intrigued. They look at him in
awe, wisdom and disparaging wonder. What does this artist know? Where in his mind do those facts reside?
The albino dolphin nodded her head, she kept doing it as she traveled to the surface trailing the anchor below. Was this an indication that Gulliver was doing the right thing?
Send me a sign Schiller that God loves it

Azure sky - Leonardo Da Vinci
The base of this mountain gives birth to the four rivers which flow in four different directions through the whole of Europe. And no mountain has its base at so great a height as this, which lifts itself almost above the clouds; and snow seldom falls there, but only hail in the summer, when the clouds are highest. And this hail lies there, so that if it were not for the absorption of the rising and falling clouds, which does not happen twice in an age, an enormous mass of ice would be piled up there by the hail, and in the middle of July I found it very considerable. There I saw above me the dark sky, and the sun as it fell on the mountain was far brighter here than in the plains below, because a smaller extent of atmosphere lay between the summit of the mountain and the sun.
Again, as an illustration of the colour of the atmosphere I will mention the smoke of old and dry wood, which, as it comes out of a chimney, appears to turn very blue, when seen between the eye and the dark distance. But as it rises, and comes between the eye and the bright atmosphere, it at once shows of an ashy grey colour and this happens because it no longer has darkness beyond it, but this bright and luminous space. If the smoke is from young, green wood, it will not appear blue, because, not being transparent and being full of superabundant moisture, it has the effect of condensed clouds which take distinct lights and shadows like a solid body.
The same occurs with the atmosphere, which, when overcharged with moisture appears white, and the small amount of heated moisture makes it dark, of a dark blue colour; and this will suffice us so far as concerns the colour of the atmosphere; though it might be added that, if this transparent blue were the natural colour of the atmosphere, it would follow that wherever a larger mass air intervened between the eye and the element of fire, the azure colour would be more intense; as we see in blue glass and in sapphires, which are darker in proportion as they are larger.

But the atmosphere in such circumstances behaves in an opposite manner, in as much as where a greater quantity of it lies between the eye and the sphere of fire, it is seen much whiter. This occurs towards the horizon. And the less the extent of atmosphere between the eye and the sphere of fire, the deeper is the blue colour, as may be seen even on low plains. Hence it follows, as I say, that the atmosphere assumes this azure hue by reason of the particles of moisture which catch the rays of the sun.
Again, we may note the difference in particles of dust, or particles of smoke, in the sun beams admitted through holes into a dark chamber, when the former will look ash grey and the thin smoke will appear of a most beautiful blue; and it may be seen again in the dark shadows of distant mountains when the air between the eye and those shadows will look very blue, though the brightest parts of those mountains will not differ much from their true colour. But if any one wishes for a final proof let him paint a board with various colours, among them an intense black; and over all let him lay a very thin and transparent white. He will then see that this transparent white will nowhere show a more beautiful blue than over the black, but it must be very thin and finely ground. Leonardo Da Vinci's notebooks (1452-1519)
.................................................................................................................
Pertaining to the study of meteorology and atmospheric phenomena, it can be deduced that Leonardo Da Vinci used this method as a colour chart to accurately match the time of day he wished his paintings to be set. In Western Art, no other than the painter William Turner, 1775-1851, expressed the beauty of the elements of nature with his landscapes of water, fire and air. The road to a new city
Only we to blame for a Capital with no character
Standing on shaky grounds, St. Clair, Trinidad.
It is a trend that seems to be happening and no one really cares. One day you see an old colonial house, then the next day it has vanished leaving behind a large empty dirt plot. This is what architects proclaim as progress at the will of their clients in the name of boxed steel and glass. Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago is changing in front of our very eyes and the conservationists who should be protecting these historic buildings seem less to care as the capital is beginning to lose its Caribbean quaintness.

The future
Focus strength creativity and change
The concept of Trinidad and Tobago as a paradise is shown here by this mural on a metal panel. There is the coconut shell as a face with flowers, a palm tree and steel drums over a setting sun. It is a paradise we hope for at at time of uncertain, social neglect mixed in with greed and disrespect.

Win Lose or Draw
A Nation decides on her future
It may not have come from to place of the heart, but it brought a sense of debate at a moment in Trinidad and Tobago's history. On the wall of the old racing paddock at the Queen Park Savannah, a graffiti artist has painted quite crudely a four letter word with significant meaning to citizens of any country who have constitutional right too.

The futurist - Leonardo da Vinci
The futurist What would Leonardo da Vinci think of the world today? Or did he ever envision the future in five hundred years? How would we describe, the photograph, the moving images of film, the era of television or the internet to him? What would he think of art today, and of the overwhelming resonance in his work centuries later?
Leonardo da Vinci believed in observation. He sorted out the habits of living things in nature and drew a conclusion. To fully understand he dissected every object to see its structure of which he could build upon it. And like the seed that resembles a helicopter, he envisioned the possibilities of flight by duplicating its form. He looked at a turtle's shell and saw the possibilities for protective armored cart. He saw that life gave all the answers to the mystery of man in his need to define himself above all things yet not flight.
In art, painting brought the pleasure to capturing a moment of perfect bliss, the sitter relayed in their temptation for immortality. As with the portrait of Lisa Gherardini, he manged to merge a part of himself with the sitter as if he painted her from memory. It was a portrait of her, through him. And this is where Art is, as it shall to capture the human spirit, and stop time for eternity.
In Light, shading and stillness, cloaked from the darkness into light an Artist must protect all things dear to him. if one sees and believes what is truth.
And so for the answer, what would he think? Man has not changed in his quest for more.

The enemy is ourselves - Heroes
Self-preservation, nature's first great law, all the creatures, except man, doth awe. - Andrew MarvellIf you believe in your destiny or the power of art to predict the future, you should take a closer look at sculpture Tar Baby vs. St. Sebastian.(left) It is a self cast of a New York–based artist Michael Richards who depicted himself as a martyr pierced by the props of World War 2 fighters. That eventful morning, Mr. Richards was in his studio on the 92th floor.
It makes you wonder when fiction merges with reality, and how violated America still feels from the 2001 attacks in New York. This is brought forth by a popular science fiction television show called Heroes, with all the trapping of a mutant, Hiro Hakamura who is on his mission to save New York city from its apocalypse "Boom". His vision of the city's pending future can be changed, he believes, if he eliminates a part of himself by killing his all encompassing powerful and zealous foe, Sylar. This is a blissful thoughts of ifs, only if a Hero such as he existed on the morning, Tuesday, September 11th, 2001 to stop the apocalypse, and order of the world as we see it today, 2007, for better or for worst, If only. One can never be careful enough when dealing with the lives of other people. Once, as a boy, I saw a spider about to kill a wasp which was caught in its web. I said to my self the spider is going to hurt that wasp. so I took a large stone...and then to my horror, I had killed them both. - Pablo Picasso
So the age old story continues about the innate gene that makes all of us do the things we do. Self - preservation and the powerful instinct to protect our survival at all costs and follow the order of things though war and genocide. And if we stop and think what our emeries are thinking, it is basically the same. If you have watched most of the episodes, one striking factor is that many of the scenes mirror the attacks and its aftermath to guard itself for those trying to destroy it. America as a country and peoples are suspicious as to who they are, and who they should all be.
The final Heroes episode which will be aired on NBC, 05.20.007 will seek its fate.

The Kodak Virtual Moment - Flickr
People strive for fame or the urge for sex, but above all, they want to voice their ideas without intrusive censorship, the internet allows a truer history of who we are from those who have filtered it in the past.
Bones, " Computer bring up the Flickr data from the turn of the twentieth century"
If you were asked to explain what Flickr is, it could be described as being the operator of a film developing machine, where snap shots of the lives of people are constantly in motion. Yet, with the popularity of Blogger and Youtube, the internet conglomerates are cashing in on the future by storing all of the information that are passed onto them. If you read the Terms and Agreement it says that Flickr collects personal information when you register with Flickr to use Flickr services or to post content on Flickr. People are less concerned with the policy, and more eager to share their work or kept it as a record on the internet. Nothing more or less is expected but rather it is following in the footsteps of Google by organizing and making information universally accessible. And in time, it would accurately portray the world by recording mankind through his own words through stills and moving images - The truest possible democracy ever conceived.
Storing your ideas for future deedsThe images that are inset with this post are from via The Library of Congress and Pingnews hosted on Flickr. It is a sample of the power of internet and accessibility of information. This is a glimpse into the past and present though historic photography which has shaped our world. In fifty years or so, the world as we see it will come to understand that all the possibilities we strived for will be in reach through a wearable wireless module. -thebookmann
