Buxom love goddess Hohle Fels found estimated to be 35,000 years old

Dolly Parton's maquette unearthed, Greatgrand to Venus of Willendorf

A bone sculpture of a female goddess less then two inches in length and having the likeness of an Indian deity. No, no its not a plucked chicken

A figurine, unearthed from a cave, called Hohle Fels in Schelklingen, Germany in 2008 was unveiled publicly. It may be the oldest sculptural carving created by human hands. Anthropologists believe the doll to be at least 35,000 years old. The ivory Venus figurine may shed light over male desire for sex and reproduction. It could have been carved by a youth as a gift to an admirer, made over many hours of idle time. No internet, not porn, no Playboy magazine, just a dark damp cave, and a shell scraping at a husk. I'll like to met her someday, we could be friends, Those breasts, Boy oh Boy, that flat rump, wow, those razer sharp lips, ahem..

Terrible relics from the 16th century on Auction

Never in your wildest dreams would you think that any God would allow these movements to exist. Only the lowest of man would devise such a heavenly pain device to enter his mind. His blood, his generations shall bear his deeds

Dachau concentration camp, Munich, 1933

It may be the Bridle of Shame, the Wheel, the Judas Cradle or any given relished name by the agents to punish a victim and shred them apart, The Guernsey's Auction House in New York is auctioning off their 16th century Torture relic collection which they privately own. The proceeds are to go to Amnesty International and other organizations committed to prevent the use of torture Worldwide in these modern times.

This comes just after the recent debate over United States instigating levels of torture in its interrogating prisons. This may be a guilt trip to purge generations of blood and death stained into these devices, and in their possession. The Guernsey's Auction is the most extensive collection of historical torture devices, and over 252 items including artifacts, rare books and documents are to be sold to a buyer without a fetish for pain or having something that causes much of it. Eccentric collectors may relish over getting the original Rack to place side by side to their copy. Careful, objects carry a history.

Before Marcel Duchamp and his conceptual readymade "Fountain", 1917, these objects serve a function, with a less desire to be tested over its meaning or in its participation

Ode to Earth Day 2009

The Poui in bloom, Trinidad, West Indies

Soil, sand and seas, ample hills that bleed, oaks, pines and daffodils. See beyond your childish gaze, touch my silky skin. I am here not for my beauty, but for my time, before I return to a desert, dust clouding my vision, damp charcoaled skin. Death comes with a whisk of flames, I sleep never to return.

Susan Boyle 1432 breaks all records

Don't be the master of all things, just one, with every force and might

The Scottish mega star Susan Boyle during her audition to Britain's Got Talent

Just after posting her singing performance on the youtube one week ago, Susan Boyle's courage to face an audience and a number of judges has evoked an emotional aftershock to over 26 million hits so far, it may reach a 100 million. Her rendition to I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables, Ms. Boyle addressed her audience in a simple manner. She may be very suffer from autism, yet the fascination and appall is that of her perceived prejudice just before the judges. Then, she opened her mouth and the World turned its ear to her as she brought forth vocal calibre that brought down the house.

This has more to do with the dignity of a human being, and the potential of human spirit masked other than what one sees. Here is a lesson to all, Popes, Kings, Queens, World leaders and the common folk. Put you prejudices aside, above all things, believe in the beauty that is of man beneath any of his skins.

Before and After, the three judges from Britain's Got Talent are caught wetting their pants. At 4.03 of the video, Simon Cowell released his kegel exercise

Murmurs of Earth - The Blueprint of Mankind

The mystery remains, the cosmos is a gateway if we allow ourselves to think the possible, I say this for future generations solely in awe of life...

The Voyager space craft's Golden Record

This diagram is the given instructions to operate a disk called the Voyager Golden Record which was launched with the Voyager spacecraft in 1977. It contains visuals and sounds to portray the types of life and culture on Earth. Such a device would probably be laugh at or destroyed if it was found in hands of other life more or less intelligent then ourselves. As with the cave painting discoveries in France, the pictogram is an example that art or the act of drawing geometric symbols is the key to all life, etched here on this golden disk. The statement below was part of the intergalactic journey of
the American Voyager spacecraft.

If one such civilization intercepts Voyager and can understand these recorded content, here is our message: This is a present from a small distant world, a token of our sounds, our science, our images, our music, our thoughts and feelings. We are attempting to survive time so we me live into yours. We hope someday to solve the problems we face to join a community of galactic civilization. The record represents our hope and our determination, and our good will in a vast and awesome universe. - Jimmy Carter, June, 1976

A plaque placed on board Pioneer 10 in 1972 and Pioneer 11 spacecraft in 1973. "Hey white woman stand up straight"

It would have been more practical as a self generated device encased in a indestructible sphere. As you shook it to see what it was, the motion would generate power and trigger on a holographic image. The audio should be samples be our heart beat, nevertheless the following montage is an example of what we look like to the outside world. Who knows, the aliens we are in search of may derive from ourself millions of light years ahead. The universal elements of life; Magnetics, electricity, fibonacci spiral, light, magenta, cyan and yellow.

In a dream, I remember seeing the vision of the statue of David as an epoch to the end of the World. Somehow the Sun had died and this was a reminder that only art survives the test of time.

A montage of the pinnacle individuals that left their mark in history on this planet, earth. We will be remembered in a vast universe that we accounted for something, fractions of light if so be......We have already passed

The Games of the XXX Olympiad - London 2012

The Concorde is an example of Invention which the British are instilled by. The Games of the XXX Olympiad in 2012 shall motive their ability to host it with a zeal of refinement, power and unforgeable beauty.

As a young boy, I had a fascination with drawing airplanes, and as a hobby, I carved a scale model of the Concorde by using a piece of wood and cardboard for its wings. The model was supported by a wire brace, and the airplane looked convincing and could stand on its own. The Concorde along with the DC-9 were two planes I showed at the
British Airways, Air Canada and Air France travel bureaus in Port of Spain, Trinidad and for my efforts, I was given one of their display models.

In my fascination with flight, I devised a contraption using a nylon cord attached from one end of the fence all along to the other end of the yard. The showroom scale model, Air France A300 was suspended by a pulley and the under the wings I mounted a landing gear. At the point where the plane touched the dirt, it gave the appearance that the plane was landing. The only problem was, I had to race up and down the hill to release it. So as it scaled down the line, I had to run ahead to the spot where the wheels touched the ground.

Just recently, I was asked why didn't I become a pilot, I believe that it was the fascination of machines in flight that instilled my dream.

Mathematics and Art

These Turkish dervish dances explain that above all things, music evokes the spirit and mathematics exemplifies its beauty. The brain is in tranced by the sequences in visual patterns which is calming. The dervish dances themselves reach an ecstatic plateau which we Trinidadians and Tobagonian experience in duration during carnival.

A simple experiment is to try to think of anything as you focus on the tempo of the music and the rotation and rate of the dancer. The mind is paralyzed

Readymade Art II

No other than man can inflict conscious cruelty upon himself

The seventeen century apparatus to the left of you was designed to restrain a human. With its vices, belts and adjustable straps, the chair is a work of art in its precision and function. It reflects the greatest fear in men of man. The device was used as a tool of torture.

Thank You

The greatest words bestowed to man

Please note the difference meaning expressed with the word, "Thanks". It has a casual ring to it and should be accepted with skepticism.

In a dilapidated plot of land, where a house once stood, a chain securely locks the gate to the entrance. What it protects is the home of a thinker, he words and art which are located on many walls across in the Capital, Port of Spain. Littered with refuse, cardboard boxes and paint, an Artists continues to express his passion, his vision for his country, Trinidad and Tobago, but never himself or the circumstances of his life. This time there is a bit more, he has immortalised thebookmann by a simple inscription between the lines in pencil.
