Haile Selassie I in St. James

Copyright © 2009 Richard Bolai

This wall painting was a pleasant surprise located in an abandon lot in St. James, Trinidad and Tobago. It shows the quantity of materials used in the artist's desire to depict Haile Selassie centered between bands of colour which represents the figure known as the Rastafari Messiah. Plenty paint boy

A detail of the work that shows great care, St. James Trinidad, West Indies

I thank Jah that this artist and forum allow this expression. Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia was EASILY THE MOST IMPORTANT MAN OF THE LAST 200 YEARS! Look to his works, his speeches, his accomplishments. LOVE AND RESPECT TO HIS MEMORY AND LEGACY THAT LIVES FOR US ALL THROUGH HIS SPEECHES AND THE WORKS OF REGGAE ARTISTS AROUND THE WORLD.
