Playing Mas At All Cost

Enjoy his mas

“The Circus Masquerader”

This masquerader is participating in Trinidad carnival, 2006 at no cost to him. The motivation may be his pure determination to just to play mas. His costume Circus Masquerader has uniformity and attention to detail. The large collar is embroidered with a moon shaped breast piece and the upper collar ring is a psychedelic mat set with rubies with red epaulets. The matching jersey is camouflaged under a tint of blue, red and gold.

The Circus Masquerader has golden arm bands with red pleated paper as ruffles. From the waist down, there is a reflective guard at his knee which is bunched together with a cord strapped over his blue parachute trousers. A red bandanna is rapped over his leg to match the colour theme of the costume.
